My new favorite SnagIt feature: Removing Cursors

In the haste to get your screens captured, I’m sure we have all grabbed an image only to find that our mouse cursor was in the shot, like this:

Capture with Cursor

Normally, I would just reshoot the capture with my cursor firmly out of the way.

Yesterday, I accidentally discovered a really need capability of SnagIt 13: It treats the cursor as a separate image artifact. This means you can select it:

Capture with Cursor selected

And remove it:

Capture without Cursor

I have no idea how long this feature has been in SnagIt, but I just now found it and it will make my documentation flow much more smoothly.
